Lumenfall

One lantern. Fifteen minutes. Survive the night until dawn.

Lumenfall is a fast, dark, survivors-style action game. Your weapons fire automatically. You move, pick upgrades, and try to stay alive until sunrise. At 15:00, the Eclipse arrives. Defeat it, and it's morning.

Play it right here in your browser, with no installation required. Downloads for Windows and Linux add fullscreen support and file saves.

What You Get

• 8 heroes, each with their own way to play.
• 12 weapons, each with an evolution. Max out a weapon, hold its relic, and open a chest from an elite enemy or boss to evolve it.
• 14 relics and a level-up deck you build as you go. Reroll, skip, or banish options you don't want.
• 10 enemy types that chase, shoot, charge, explode, teleport, split, and shield.
• 3 bosses: The Eye, Old Bramble, and The Eclipse.
• Shrine pacts: Take a curse in exchange for power.
• Daily Night: A new seeded challenge every day.
• Permanent upgrades purchased with the gold you earn.
• The Long Night: Keep going after dawn.
• A Codex that fills in as you encounter new things, plus 22 achievements.
• Full controller support with Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch button prompts. Every menu works without a mouse or keyboard.

Controls

• Move: WASD, arrow keys, left stick, or touch and drag.
• Pause: Esc or Start.
• Pick upgrades: Click, press 1–4, or use the D-pad and A.

Saves

In the browser version, your progress is stored in your browser. It may be lost if you clear site data for itch.io or play in a private browsing window.

The desktop downloads save your progress to a file in your user data folder:

• Windows: %APPDATA%\Lumenfall
• Linux: ~/.config/Lumenfall
• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Lumenfall

Browser and desktop saves are separate.

Downloads: Unsigned Apps

The desktop builds are not code-signed.

Windows: If you see "Windows protected your PC," click More info, then Run anyway.

Linux: Unzip the download, then run ./lumenfall. If needed, make it executable first with chmod +x lumenfall.
